CourtBeam legal
Platform Terms
These Platform Terms govern a club’s use of the CourtBeam software. PicklePro Tech LLC d/b/a CourtBeam provides the platform; the club remains responsible for its facilities, staff, pricing, taxes, player relationship, refunds, safety, accessibility, and legal compliance.
Acceptance and accounts
The person accepting these Terms represents that they are authorized to bind the club or business identified during signup. The club must provide accurate legal, contact, tax, and payout information, use unique accounts, protect credentials, and remove users who no longer need access.
Service and responsibility
CourtBeam provides hosted tools for court configuration, availability, players, memberships, bookings, events, communications, reports, and payment integrations. CourtBeam is not the club, venue operator, coach, event host, payment processor, insurer, or provider of sporting services.
The club is responsible for its facilities, staff, coaches, rules, pricing, waivers, taxes, customer support, refunds, safety, accessibility, and compliance with laws that apply to its business and customers.
Fees, trials, and taxes
The plan, price, billing interval, taxes, renewal date, and cancellation terms are shown at checkout and recorded in the account. Unless the order says otherwise, plans renew at the selected interval until cancelled. CourtBeam’s current launch pricing is Free at $0, Club at $99/month or $1,188/year, and Pro at $199/month or $2,388/year. The optional branded native app is available on Pro at $299/month with a one-time $499 activation fee. New plans have no CourtBeam transaction commission; payment-provider fees and taxes remain separate.
The club is responsible for taxes on club sales to players. CourtBeam is responsible for taxes on its own subscriptions and fees where required. Each party must provide tax information reasonably needed for invoicing, withholding, exemption, or reverse charge treatment.
Connect payments
When enabled, the club uses a Stripe connected account and is the seller for its player bookings, events, and memberships. The club bears its payment-provider processing fees, refunds, chargebacks, and customer-facing sale obligations. CourtBeam does not add a transaction commission to new plans and does not store full card numbers.
A successful browser redirect is not payment confirmation. Verified webhook state controls booking and entitlement state.
Data, acceptable use, and intellectual property
The parties must use personal data only as described in the Privacy Notice and Data Processing Addendum. Do not place health information, government identifiers, card data, passwords, or unnecessary sensitive information in player notes.
You must not break the law, abuse players or staff, upload malware, bypass access controls, scrape private data, resell access without permission, manipulate bookings or payments, or send unlawful marketing. CourtBeam and its licensors retain the service, software, designs, documentation, mobile applications, reusable components, and improvements; the club retains its content and player data.
Your content and permission to display it
You retain ownership of the text, images, logos, announcements and other content you submit to CourtBeam. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit that content and let CourtBeam use it as described here, including permission from other people where required.
You grant PicklePro Tech LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format and display that content, and to deliver it to the audiences you or your club select, only as needed to provide, secure and support CourtBeam. We may use our service providers for these purposes, subject to the Privacy Notice and any applicable Data Processing Addendum. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content or authorize us to use it in unrelated advertising.
This license ends when the content is removed from the service, except for copies retained for a limited period in backups, to meet legal obligations or to resolve a dispute. Retained copies remain subject to the Privacy Notice and are not newly published to players. Reports, booking records and other records may be retained where required or permitted as explained in the Privacy Notice.
Do not submit content that infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy or other rights. Contact support@courtbeam.com to report suspected infringement. We may restrict or remove content that violates these Terms.
Availability, suspension, termination, and liability
CourtBeam uses commercially reasonable efforts to operate the service but does not promise uninterrupted availability, payment approval, venue availability, or a particular business result. CourtBeam may suspend access or payment features for security, fraud, legal, non-payment, or material policy reasons. After termination, the club receives a 30-day export window unless a longer period is required by law or agreed in writing.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. CourtBeam’s aggregate liability for a service claim is limited to fees paid by the club for the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by Wyoming law without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to mandatory consumer rights, the state and federal courts located in Laramie County, Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes arising from these Terms.
